"I can't write a to do list because what if a to do list isn't the best way to be productive and use my brain to get things done and what if it's messy and should I use a legal pad or a cute notebook - I have to make my to do list the right way or it doesn't count, so I just won't make one"
I relate to this so deeply! I was recently diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder which is different than regular-schmegular OCD. I'm still learning about it, but it might be something for you to look at! I also struggle a lot with rituals specifically because I feel like if I don't do them "perfectly," I shouldn't do them at all. I'm working on letting this go and trying to something even if it isn't everything!
